Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June 2022
Hi Friends,
We had a lovely albeit modest audience at the Southampton Cultural Center in the Hamptons, Long Island. It was a wonderful experience and a real adventure! The audience expressed such gratitude at the end of the show for having seen it. They were both entertained and moved. Thank you for those of you who made it out there from the city. I am humbled. Thank you also to those of you that told your friends about the play. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity, again, to share my story. Blessings to all!! Until next time…

At Depot Theatre at 7PM @ 10 Garrisons Landing, Garrison NY 10524
Another memorable evening of theater was had! Another full house, this time at the beautiful Depot Theatre along the Hudson. It was deeply gratifying to hear the heartfelt responses from the audience. The atmosphere was palpable. Much love in the room, and a celebration of our common humanity prevailed. Flowers, cards and other gifts were graciously given and humbly and thankfully received. Truly a night to remember!
‘My Story, My Voice’ for one night only at ‘The Players’ club, Manhattan.
We had a wonderful night at The Players on July 24th. It was truly amazing! We were expecting about 80 in audience attendance, but people just kept coming and we kept adding more and more chairs. In the end there were 112 in attendance, a full house and the show ended with a standing ovation. It was a truly memorable evening. I am so grateful. You can see audience responses here

‘… an evocative journey through the depths and surfaces of childhood…we taste the jelly tarts and sweets, we see the bright colors of paints in toilet water, and we hear the solace in the local music teacher’s piano… and the unspeakable vulnerabilities of human skin. My Story, My Voice is a tale of beauty and violence, wounds and healing, and the hope that endures through all’. Dr. Mahlika Hopwood, Fordham University 01/21/19
